Kade Morris gets fourth-biggest MLB bonus of any Nevada Wolf Pack baseball alum
Kade Morris will forgo his senior season at Nevada after signing a contract over the weekend with the New York Mets, who used a third-round pick to select the Wolf Pack fireballer with the No. 101 pick in this month's MLB draft.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-hander from Turlock, Calif., signed for his full slot bonus amount of $666,500, per MLB.com's Jim Callis. Morris, who was the eighth-highest draft pick in Wolf Pack history, gets the fourth-largest MLB bonus of a Nevada alum.
