Fifteen people were arrested and $16 million worth of illegal drugs were seized during a massive cartel bust in Southern California.
The operation, nicknamed “Hotline Bling,” was a multi-agency investigation targeting a Sinaloa drug trafficking network operating in the Inland Empire.

The Modesto Police Department said it arrested two Stanislaus County men on Wednesday after a traffic stop and search warrant revealed over 200 pounds of methamphetamine, nearly 80 pounds of cocaine, 4 pounds of heroin, and over $90,000.
Police said that the two men, 46 and 23 from Ceres, have each had their bail set at $2 million and face a variety of possession charges relating to drugs and guns.

A report about marijuana being sold illegally at a smoke shop on Lander Avenue turned into a multi-agency compliance check of smoke shops across Turlock on Tuesday.
A total of 10 businesses were visited, resulting in seven seizures, six citations issued (four civil and two criminal). Black-market marijuana, flavored inhalants, and flavored tobacco products were also seized as a result of the search warrant at the Lander Avenue business.
