Doctors Medical Center of Modesto is starting to recover after it was knocked off-balance by a California Department of Public Health survey focused on anesthesia services.

But as more surgeries resume , the hospital has decisions to make about staffing operating rooms with anesthesiologists and midlevel providers called certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs).

Emanuel Medical Center names new CEO

Emanuel Medical Center welcomes its third chief executive officer in four years, as the Turlock hospital announced the hiring of Murali Naidu, MD, FACS to the top administrative position.

Naidu assumed responsibility for all hospital operations, executive planning and directing medical services as of Nov. 15. He takes over for Warren Kirk, CEO of Doctors Medical Center and Tenet’s Northern California Group, who served as interim CEO for the past two months, following the resignation of Lani Dickinson.
