Fear not; Turlock proudly offers a variety of recreational activities that are sure to keep students, faculty, and staff entertained. 

Since its grand opening in 2003, the Turlock Historical Society Museum is one of the many gems found in downtown Turlock. Its wide array of pictures, artifacts, and stories give visitors a great look into the history of our town.

Another new hotel is headed for Turlock. What’s planned for extended stay destination

Turlock’s hospitality just keeps growing.

A new hotel is under development in the city, bringing with it close to 100 new rooms just off Highway 99. The new TownePlace Suites by Marriott would be a four-story extended stay hotel west of downtown Turlock on North Tully Road.

Sacramento-based BM5 Hospitality LLC is behind the development, which would sit directly north of the existing Comfort Suites on Tully Road. The hotel would be constructed on a vacant 2-acre dirt lot that is currently being used largely for semi-trailer parking.

Representatives from BM5 Hospitality LLC did not return a request for comment on the project before the publication deadline.
